Papers (1930s-1970s) of Polish American musician and music teacher Alexandra (Nurcyzyński) Jaskólska (1918- ) document her musical and journalistic careers. Jaskólski was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and trained and taught at the New England Conservatory of Music there. As a soloist, she was known as "Olenka Nurczyńska-Bertylda". Included in her papers are publications and administrative correspondence from the New England Conservatory of Music; Polish and Polish American music; diaries; and miscellany. In addition to her musical work, Jaskolski edited the Polish American newspaper Gazeta Polonii.
